Sehrish Rashid, MPH, MA 
Project Manager

Sehrish Rashid joined HCIF in August 2022 as a Project Manager for the Population & Community Health team. She currently supports the Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition (PAHLC), Cities Change Diabetes, and Collaborative Opportunities to Advance Community Health (COACH) initiatives.

Prior to joining HCIF, Sehrish worked as a Mentor Coordinator at LifeTies’ Youth and Family Pride Center in Ewing, NJ. In this role, she managed the program’s activities including recruitment, screening, training, and monitoring of mentors and LGBTQ+ youth and young adults in the community. She also developed a training curriculum on cultural competency, intersectionality, cultural humility, and LGBTQ+ terminology for the organization. She has worked as an intern at Nationalities Service Center and People’s Emergency Center in Philadelphia as well.

Sehrish is an MPH graduate from Drexel’s Dornsife School of Public Health with extensive interests in global policy, research, and LGBTQ+ health. She also received a Master’s degree in International Relations from Karachi, Pakistan before immigrating to the United States in 2008.
