
Pamela A. Braun, BSN, MSN
Vice President, Clinical Improvement
Pam Braun joined HCIF in 2008 and currently serves as the Vice President, Clinical Improvement. She leads patient safety initiatives funded by the Partnership for Patient Care and directs other externally funded initiatives, such as CT Radiation Safety and Diagnostic Error through the Pennsylvania Hospital Innovation Improvement Network.
Pam is a registered nurse with 30 years of health care experience, 18 of which have been focused in quality and patient safety. Prior to joining HCIF, Pam worked for the Virtua Health System in New Jersey where she was the Director of Quality at the Voorhees Hospital and then the Director of Clinical Practice, Standards and Excellence, responsible for the standardization of best nursing practices across the system.
Pam has previous experience as a health care consultant, data analyst, care coordinator, and staff nurse. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova University and a master’s in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
