On May 17, 2017, CPR Ready staff and volunteers provided free hands-only CPR training to over 120 people. Volunteers also distributed information on cardiac arrest and hands-only CPR to spread awareness to those that were unable to take time out of their workday to get trained. CPR Ready is a Philadelphia regional campaign to increase bystander CPR and cardiac arrest survival rates.

The event, supported by the Dolfinger-McMahon Foundation, occurred at the Liberty Place Rotunda in Center City Philadelphia and primarily targeted the Philadelphia business community and the general public that passed through this busy foot traffic location. CPR Ready would like to thank Liberty Place for donating the space and The Mobile CPR Project and the American Heart Association for their important contributions to make this event a success. CPR Ready will host additional public training events during National CPR Awareness Week, June 1st – 7th.
